The original eleaf istick pico 25 85w was a popular device and now manufacturer Eleaf have created this new revision, which as you might gather can now fit atomizers up to 25mm diameter.
Just like its predecessor the iStick Pico 25 comes in a variety of colours and requires a single 18650 battery (not included). The maximum output is 85 Watts and the device features a variety of modes including; Variable Wattage, Temperature Control and Bypass Mode. There is full support for all major wire types. The Pico also offers three memory slots and is firmware upgradeable.
So let’s have a good look and see what it has to offer you!
Package Includes: 1 x iStick Pico 25(without battery) 1 x ELLO Atomizer 1 x HW1 Single-Cylinder 0.2ohm Head 1 x HW2 Dual-Cylinder 0.3ohm Head 1 x QC USB Cable 2 x User Manuals 1 x Set of Spare Parts
eleaf istick pico 25 kit styling and build quality I think it’s fair to say that the iStick Pico 25 is both very compact and eye-catching. The chassis appears to be made of zinc alloy with what appears to be contrasting glossy plastic accents. In fact the contrasting colour scheme is tastefully done and lends quite a modern feel to the device. Construction wise I think it is very well put together and there was certainly no button rattle present.
In terms of weight the iStick Pico 25 is very light but still feels pretty durable. While this is certainly a good thing the only issue is if you choose to fit a large, heavy tank because this can make the overall balance seem a bit off.
The 510 connection has decent threading and the pin has a decent throw pin but you do occasionally get a very minor gap (about 2mm) when fitting some atomizers. As I have already mentioned the iStick Pico 25 has enough space to fit 25mm diameter atomizers but anything larger than that will definitely overhang. Strangely enough my Taifun GT III which is actually a 23mm diameter atomizer tends to look a bit odd when fitted, almost like it’s overhanging because of the protruding airflow ring. Of course providing you’re fitting a TPD compliant 2ml tank or an RDA you’re unlikely to have a noticeable issue like that.
I thought that the fire button was a good size and very responsive. My only niggle is the adjustment buttons recessed on the base of the device which do work well but feel a little small for my fingers, but then it was the same issue for me with the iStick Pico and I got used to it in time. The eleaf istick pico 25 kit 85w offers a maximum output of 85watts. It features Variable Wattage, Temperature Control and Bypass modes. Support is provided for Ni200, Titanium and Stainless Steel wire types as well as an included TCR option. As mentioned the device is firmware upgradeable and you can download updates from Eleaf as they release them.
The main display seems to feature a screen protector but it is bright and easy to read thanks to the very legible font used. All of the typical information is shown including Wattage, Voltage, Amps, Resistance and battery life. Also shown is the current mode the device is set to. When using the device in Temperature Control Mode the temperature is displayed.Below the main display you will find the Micro USB port which supports 2 Amp charging and can also be used to allow the device to receive firmware updates.
The battery compartment is nicely designed and the screw top cap has good threading. The cap also has knurling to assist you. The device does not include a battery so you will have to use one of your 18650’s which has to be inserted positive end down as marked. On the base of the device suitable battery ventilation is provided for via eight decent sized holes.Personally I think this is a really well put together device especially when you consider its reasonable price at vape shops.
